Isabelle was a reporter and producer at the CBC radio for more than twelve years. She has been deployed mainly in Regina and Toronto.
After completing a master's degree in International Relations at Laval University, she worked for a few months at the Organization of American States, in particular on the Electoral Observation Mission in Haiti in 2010-2011. The courage and determination of the women and youth of Port-au-Prince, election workers who performed their tasks brilliantly despite the difficulties of the process, greatly inspired her. She then worked as a parliamentary assistant for a member of the House of Commons for five years, before taking on the challenge of coordinating three coalitions as a Regional Working Group Officer for the Canadian Council for International Cooperation (CCIC).
